What Zovora is

Zovora is a tool for recording your own financial commitments and working out what is left to spend. It is a calculator and a record, running on figures you enter yourself.

What Zovora is not

  • It is not a bank, a payment service or a money transfer service. It does not hold your money.
  • It cannot move money, make payments or access any account you hold anywhere.
  • It does not give financial advice. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to take out, keep or repay any product, and it is not regulated advice.
  • It is not a debt adviser, a debt management service or a credit broker.
  • The Zovora Score is not a credit score. It is worked out only from what you have entered, no lender sees it, and it has no effect on your credit file.

Regulatory position

Zovora is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and it does not need to be, because it does not carry out regulated activities. It does not arrange, advise on, sell or administer any financial product, it does not lend, and it does not handle payments.

In particular, Zovora does not provide debt advice or debt counselling. The payoff planner and any similar tool is a calculator: it applies arithmetic to figures you entered and shows what those figures imply. It does not assess your circumstances, does not recommend a course of action, and is not a substitute for regulated advice. If you are struggling with debt, free regulated help is available in the UK from services such as MoneyHelper, StepChange and Citizens Advice.

Accuracy

Zovora's arithmetic is only as good as the figures you give it. If a bill is missing or a balance is out of date, the number will be wrong in the same way. We do not guarantee that any figure, date or projection in the app matches what your bank or a lender will actually do, and you should not rely on it as your only record. Always check anything important against the provider directly.

Private beta

Zovora is in private beta and free for beta users. It is provided as it is, features may change or be removed, and there may be interruptions or bugs. Pricing will be confirmed before public launch, and no one is charged without agreeing to it first.

Your account

Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Let us know at hello@getzovora.com if you think someone else has access to it.

Brand names

Zovora recognises the names of banks, lenders, retailers and other providers so your own lists read clearly. Those names and logos belong to their owners. Their appearance in Zovora, or on this site, does not mean they are affiliated with Zovora or endorse it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that follow from decisions you make using Zovora, from figures being inaccurate or out of date, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
